ADHD Caregivers Workshop at Interact For Health

Imagine Cincinnati proudly partners with Interact For Health, a health foundation based in Kenwood and serving the trip-state area, committed to advancing health justice by improving mental health and well-being, increasing power in traditionally marginalized communities, and changing policies and systems.

As school begins, they’re hosting Dr. Robin Arthur of Transform Consulting for a free, in-person workshop  for caregivers of school-aged youth (K-12) who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

By attending this class, caregivers will learn:

  • How differences in the brain of a child with neurodiverse traits (such as ADHD or autism) influence behavior.

  • Ways to strengthen their relationship with and support their child in regulating emotions, especially when they feel overwhelmed.

  • Practical strategies to motivate a child with ADHD or other forms of neurodiversity.

  • How to apply principles of Positive Psychology to everyday parenting.

There will also be opportunities to ask questions and engage in Q&A with Dr. Robin Arthur and her team.

The same workshop will be offered twice at the following times:

  • Wednesday, August 12, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Register here.

  • Friday, October 16, from 2:30 - 5 p.m. Register here.

Imagine Cincinnati parents and caregivers will be in attendance at these events, and we encourage you to join us. Whether you or your child has a diagnosis or you are just curious to see if these conversations might help your family or community, all are welcome to attend and learn with us.
