For 2025, we are focusing on seasons, cultures and community care. Through sharing time with each other, we’ll embrace the changing of the seasons, learn about different cultural rhythms and holidays, and develop social/emotional awareness through basic tools and tips on self-care, mental health, and parenting.
This week you’re invited to wear your Halloween costumes to playgroup as our friend Mr. Luis Aguilar Dwyer of the Civic Garden Center of Cincinnati joins us for a special “Lil’ Sprouts on the Go” event. He’ll teach us about the Monarch journey to Mexico as he shares his family’s traditions with Día de los Muertos. We’ll have a special Monarch themed scavenger hunt that may just remind you of trick-or-treating!
Join us in the backyard of Community Happens Here (6238 Montgomery Rd.) Park on the street or at the Walgreens nearby. We gather rain, snow or shine. When the weather is wet or below 30 degrees, we’ll meet indoors at CHH. Otherwise, dress to be outside for most or all of our time together.
