Full Moon & Family Yoga Events for 2025

Our Full Moon Yoga gatherings started with a few parents and caregivers coming together to do something they like to do - outdoor yoga. What we found was that in the space we created together, there was a peace, a grounding and connection that awakened us to our own rhythms and needs. But it also connected us to the history and cycles of our community, of nature, and the people who cared for the land before we arrived.

“I am here in this precious moment. I am enough just as I am. I choose to love and nurture myself now, just as I care for those around me. I choose to give myself time for stillness, for reflection, for healing. I choose to bring myself into the light of my own being, with gratitude for this land upon which I receive rest, as I learn to acknowledge what it is I truly need and desire.” (adapted from Gail Bussi, Enchanted TeaTime)

Our start times and locations change to fit the sunset and capture the energy of nature. We try to gather around the times of the full moon or changes of the seasons to honor and embrace the threshold of change in our lives. We usually start with a warm or iced cup of tea and the meditation above. Following our yoga flow, led by Kim Panther of Winter Wellness and Hello Sunshine Yoga Studio, we graze on fresh fruits and cheeses of the season and toast in the moonlight with a glass of wine or tea.

If you struggle with finding time to nurture your spirit and show self-care, if you long to connect deeper with nature this summer, or have a curiosity about yoga or the beauty of the night sky, then come join us. All are welcome. We strive to anchor our practice in learning - learning from the wisdom of many cultures, faiths and traditions. No yoga experience is necessary. We’ll do our best to adapt for abilities and injuries. Yoga mats are available. We’ll also provide cool lavender towels in summer, warm blankets in fall, tea and light fare at every gathering. Come join us as we each find our rhythms for peace and presence this summer.

We ask for $10 cash or venmo upon arrival.
